Best of Both Worlds – Jay-Z And R.Kelly = Best Collaboration Album Ever

On April 17, 2012 by Celebterview

For those of you who forgot, before Jay-Z and Kanye teamed up for ‘Watch The Throne’, Jay and R.Kelly created ‘Best Of Both Worlds’. It didn’t do nearly as well as it should have because of a feud between the two and Kelly’s various and sundry legal issues. But the album was pure genius. It has to be, in my opinion, the best collaboration album of ever. At the time, Jay and Kelly were untouchable in their genre, and Jay still holds that title. Just thought I’d remind y’all. This stays on on my playlist. And the way Jay breaks it down in “Somebody’s Girl” is the smoothest set a rapper has ever done. The lyrical flow is impeccable. He’s alternative rap, he’s playing the blues!
