Strip Club Videos Are Corny And Cliche ~ Enough Already
It always happens, you sit down, watch a music video to a song that you love, and then you’re completely turned off by the artist, the song, etc. I know that you want to show what a fabulous lifestyle you are now living, that your professional life is getting somewhere, or has gotten somewhere, etc. But really, having a video of just throwing money at strippers is not the way to do it. This does not show how desirable you are, if you think having a woman make it clap in front of you, who will do it for a dollar to any old bum that walks in the room, is having “made it”, you’re an idiot. Don’t get me wrong, strip clubs are fun, my girls and I go every now and then, but by no means does going to one highlight how you have arrived as an artist and presence in the professional world.
It does not even tell a compelling story. Yes, I know you’re there because you have so much money to make it rain, or you’re there because the girl you loved so desperately was a skank and cheated on you, now you drown you sorrows and make her somehow pay for it by going to strip clubs.
A word of advice, if she cheated on you, she doesn’t care if you go to a strip club. She probably wants you to go. And further more, she probably wanted to end the relationship but didn’t know how to or felt badly about it. So, really you’re only playing yourself. And trust me, she ain’t coming back, she’s not crying cause you caught her cheating, she’s out with the new dude right now!
